Company Information A. C. Roof Trusses operates in the Building and Construction Industry, and specialises in the design and manufacture of timber roof trusses, floor and roof beams and infill materials. The company was one of the first to join the Trussed Rafter Association, which has strict standards and criteria for membership; prior to this membership of the Truss Rafter Quality Assurance Scheme run by BM TRADA Certification Limited was achieved. We are also members of the Trusses Rafter Quality Assurance Scheme run be BMTrada Certification Ltd A. C. Roof Trusses has operated substantially in its present form for nearly 30 years, and has built a reputation for quality and service. Our senior designers all have at least 25 years experience each in the design of roof trusses and/or engineered floors Posi Strut's ready for delivery Inside the production plant Our latest addition to our transport fleet Dedicated Floor Beam Production Facility Our second factory, which is dedicated to engineered floor beam manufacture, has been producing ever-increasing quantities of metal web joists since 2002. It is now capable of manufacturing up to 6000 metres per week, using two automated presses. A big benefit to our customers is that we can quickly change either of the machines to make beams of a different depth, utilising one of the 5 metal 'V' sizes which we stock. Our factory is equipped with a new gantry crane, enabling us to manufacture floor cassettes in large quantities. We have manufactured cassettes up to 3.5m wide, with lengths up to 7.5m, although with the large span capabilities of our engineered floor beams, the limits are much greater. We are able to manufacture to a tight timescale, and on a recent project we were producing ten plots a week. We increased our delivery fleet in mid-2003, with the addition of 28 tonne MAN tractor unit with two step-frame trailers, and a MAN rigid unit. These two vehicles enable us to provide nationwide delivery with guaranteed delivery dates.
